Butchery Academy

Duties
In Butchery Academy, you will learn how to skilfully de-bone poultry breast meat, to provide a high-quality product for our secondary production teams.
Being part of our in-house Butchery Academy Team, you will learn the skill of manual de-boning taught by our in-house Trainers.
During your training you will receive a full weekly wage, paid at £12.50 per hour for 37.5 hours per week. You will also have the opportunity to progress as your skills develop and your production capability increases.
You will be provided with all the support you need to be successful in your apprenticeship and to give you the best start to your career in poultry production.
Once you have successfully achieved your apprenticeship, you’re more than welcome to stay employed with us as you grow your career.
Skills
Teamwork, communication and dedication are the most important skills needed to be in Butchery Academy at 2Sisters Sandycroft.
An interest in the Food Manufacturing industry will enable apprentices to progress within a well-established manufacturing operation.

Production Operative

Production Operative £10.00 - £11.50 p/h

Job introduction

As Production Operative you will start your journey in our poultry department.

Paying an hourly rate of £10.00 to £11.50 p/h

Duties include re-hanging chilled birds onto moving lines, delivering pallets, sort and pack poultry products

Weekly paid and free transport may be provided from specific areas

Shifts & Hours:

Week 1: Sunday (05:25 - 13:25), Mon - Thu (04:50 - 12:50)

Week 2: Monday to Thursday (14:00 - 22:00), Friday (09:00 - 17:00)

The ideal candidate

Our ideal production operative will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and ensure that all our products are of the highest quality, working in an efficient and timely manner. Experience as a production, warehouse or factory operative is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided

Applicants must be over 18 years of age to comply with working time directive regulations

English language skills are desirable but not essential.

Primary Operative £10.50 - £12.25p/h.

Job introduction

As a Primary Operative, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including:

Rotated duties whilst working in a busy poultry processing environment, you will be part of a dynamic team in the Primary Live Reception function. Tasks are rotated throughout the shift and full training will be provided.

This role is weekly paid.

Sunday to Thursday - 17:00 - 01:30
