Shift Vehicle Technician
An opportunity has arisen within the Engineering Department for a Vehicle Technician (Shift).
This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your knowledge, skills and experience within an Engineering department.
Working within the engineering team helping to maintain our fleet of vehicles, the successful candidate will undertake work to advised standards to maximise vehicle uptime whilst maintaining and improving quality.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Vehicle Technician possessing a recognised engineering qualification within a PCV/HGV discipline, and be able to demonstrate competence in a wide scope of modern vehicle systems. Ideally you will be a time-served LGV/HGV/PCV Fitter with experience of using computer vehicle testing and diagnostic equipment.
As a confident communicator, you will enjoy both working as part of a highly skilled team and on your own initiative.
A PCV/HGV driving license would be desirable
The position is full-time, working 39 hours per week. You will be required to undertake shift work. A high degree of flexibility and willingness to work additional hours, as necessary, is required to meet the operational needs of the business.
