Opportunities

ESF Upskilling@Work Project

In response to the crushing impact of COVID-19 on the economic wellbeing of Wales, Coleg y Cymoedd has come together with WEFO (Welsh European Funding Office) to develop a package of support to help and assist businesses and people during this time.

With support from the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government, we can now offer local businesses and self-employed people accredited training and development qualifications for their staff, that are 100% subsidised.

We are delighted to announce that with immediate effect, and expected to run until March 2022, this training is now available for qualifying companies. These include public, private and third sector organisations of any size, with a base in Wales, who have not already received more than 200,000 Euros in de minimis state aid over the last 3 fiscal years.

The training must be an approved and accredited qualification, and includes a range of competence based, work-related qualifications for all business sectors. There's potential to gain these recognised qualifications without having to leave the workplace or miss any work!

Eligibility criteria does apply so please see the link for more information on this and the courses available, as well as registering your interest.

Hi, I'm Matthew. I'll be able to assist with any training queries you have and hopefully find a solution.

A lot of our provisions within Business Services have a funded option attached to it; but if you require something that we can't fund, I will look into the most cost-effective solution for you.

If there is a type of training you're interested in that we don't provide, it is also more than likely that we'll know a trusted third-party who will, which I'll be happy to enquire on your behalf.
