Llamau

Llamau’s mission is to end youth homelessness and homelessness for women. We know that homelessness does not have to exist – it isn’t inevitable and we know that by working together we can prevent it.

At Llamau, our support involves so much more than putting a roof over someone’s head. We recognise that people need to feel safe before they can even begin to even think about other areas of their lives.

They need to be given time to heal from any traumas they’ve experienced and they need to be supported to develop the skills, confidence and tools to live independently and without support.

We only ever run small, homely supported accommodation, where people can feel safe and at home, and we provide tailored, holistic support which recognises the unique strengths and needs of every individual.
Last year, we supported Natasha to live safely in one of our refuges.
