Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Division, as part of Digital Services and Technology directorate (DST), are delivering complex products and services built collaboratively across multi-disciplined teams

We are looking for Cloud Engineers with proven experience in either Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform to come and join our Cloud Services and Support Team. You will be working alongside the existing Cloud Infrastructure and Architecture teams and Information Assurance to ensure that the Office for National Statistics cloud deployments are fit for purpose and use. Using agile methods in a DevSecOps culture to deliver new services and business as usual in a true multi-cloud environment. You will be proficient in a wide range of technical areas, enjoy working openly and across DST, playing a pivotal role within the business.

Engagement Manager

In this role, you will manage our engagement with a ranges of audiences (including analysts, data managers, policy officials, communication professionals) across government, academia, businesses and the third sector, to ensure their needs and expectations are managed and encourage their support for the Programme. You will build and maintain strong relationships with these stakeholders, involving and keeping them informed as required. This role will require a strong, enthusiastic and inclusive leader, comfortable managing a wide range of, quickly changing, priorities, engaging with senior stakeholders from all sectors and ensuring their staff are well supported and motivated throughout.
